President of the National Council for Women, Dr. Maya Morsi, inaugurated a three-day Egyptian Handicraft Products exhibition “Al-Masria” organized by the Council in cooperation with the European Union in Egypt.
The exhibition is held on the occasion of the Month of Europe, with the participation of Ambassador Christian Berger, Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt.
Among the attendees of the opening ceremony were Ambassador Omar Abu Eish, head of the National Office for the Implementation of the Partnership Agreement between Egypt and the European Union; Dr. Ali Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade; and a group of public figures and ambassadors of European Union countries.
“Al-Masria” exhibition included 4 different pavilions and displayed handicraft products from 20 governorates, 7 female entrepreneurs, and designs for various fashions.
Dr. Morsi expressed her pleasure in working with Ambassador Christian Berger and in the fruitful and permanent partnership and cooperation between the NCW and the European Union in supporting and assisting Egyptian women in all fields, especially in holding exhibitions to display handicraft products for Egyptian women.
The President of the Council also thanked Ambassador Omar Abu-Eish for his support and support for the Egyptian women and the Council. She also saluted Dr. Ali Moselhi for his participation in the opening ceremony.
