News Agencies

The branch of the National Council for Women organized a banking simulation event in the Aswan Governorate titled “Tahweesha fi Bank” as part of the national project to develop the Egyptian family. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi launched this project within the Decent Life villages and hamlets targeted for the presidential initiative.

The banking simulation is not just an educational event, but a practical tool to empower women economically. It aims to spread financial culture and digital literacy, and train women on how to deal with banks and obtain various banking services. Moreover, it encourages women to establish small projects, which can provide job opportunities and a source of financial income, thereby improving their living conditions and economic benefits for themselves and their families.

Hoda Mustafa, the rapporteur of the branch of the National Council for Women, has confirmed the details of the banking simulation. It will be organized under the supervision of the Governor of Aswan and will take place for a week in three villages: Al-Aqab Bahri, Silwa Bahri, and Al-Sabaia.

The simulation aims to raise awareness of various banking procedures and services and mechanisms for benefiting from them through the financial inclusion program’s financial facilitators. Bank employees will train these financial facilitators to play the role of bank employees in the simulation kiosks to deal with women and provide them with the required awareness of various banking procedures and transactions in a clear and simple way.

The banking simulation activities include setting up kiosks to provide awareness and education services in the areas of financial and digital inclusion and green and smart projects. The event will also display craft products, workshops, and production units. Additionally, the Women’s Complaints Office 15115, issuing national ID cards, and other activities and services will be available.
