The National Council for Women has recently organized the third regional network meeting in Arab countries to promote equality and equal opportunities for both sexes.
The meeting aims to support women’s access to leadership and decision-making positions in the public service.
The coordinator of the Regional Network stated that the meeting will discuss the procedures for the closing ceremony marking the end of the Arab Republic of Egypt’s presidency of the Regional Network.
The presidency will then be handed over to the State of Morocco, and the meeting will also evaluate the network’s work experience over the past four years.
During the meeting, a proposal was made to organize a symposium on the sidelines of the closing ceremony titled “Women and Technology”.
The seminar will cover two prominent topics: women in decision-making positions, cyber violence, and technology and empowering women in public service.
Additionally, there was a proposal to invite some countries to participate in the closing ceremony to introduce them to the network’s work and learn from its successful experiences.
