The National Council for Women, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO), has successfully implemented the eleventh accreditation course for eight trainers. These trainers participated in a program focused on “Wise Money Management,” which is one of the international training manuals issued by the ILO. The course took place over five days and is part of the council’s ongoing efforts to establish national accreditation for financial literacy trainers.
A total of 14 trainees attended the course, where they covered various topics, including how to set financial goals, the difference between wants and needs, how to prepare a personal budget, and how to engage with banking institutions.
Currently, the National Council for Women boasts 147 financial literacy trainers, with 110 of them holding national accreditation from the ILO in Geneva. This initiative aims to empower women in financial management and promote economic independence through enhanced financial education.
