Within the framework of the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments’ interest in the role of women in society in general and in the field of advocacy in particular, Dr. Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowments, decided to launch the year 2024 as the Year of Women Preachers.
Dr. Gomaa also decided that the title of the thirty-fifth conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs should be: “The academic and skillful training of women preachers and their role in The field of advocacy…the Egyptian endowments is role model”.
The conference aims to determine the best ways to train female preachers scientifically, culturally, and skillfully and to explain their role in religious advocacy while presenting the Egyptian experience with its pioneering dimensions as a model in this field.
