The Minister of Social Solidarity, Nevine El-Kabbaj, has announced the winners of the 2024 Ideal Mother Competition in the governorates of the Republic. Anisa Farid Mansour Metwally from Dakahlia Governorate was ranked first in the Republic, followed by Wafa Ahmed Mohamed from Kafr al-Sheikh Governorate in second place, and Taseer Mahmoud Dahim Mohammed from Matrouh Governorate in third place.
El-Kabbaj has announced the names of the ideal mothers for each governorate. The list is as follows: – Amima Talat al-Sisi in the governorate of Menoufya – Elham Abdelhamid Abdelhamid Elwahid in El-Gharbiyah Governorate – Nagla Mustager Ahmed Al-Awwal in Port Said governorate.
The Minister of Social Solidarity has announced the names of three outstanding mothers for the year 2024. Shahera Rady Mohammed Omar from Matrouh governorate has been recognized as the exemplary mother of a son with disabilities across the nation. Shadya Abdul Hakim Yusuf from Al-Gharbiyah Governorate is the ideal mother of the Republic for 2024. Additionally, Farah Hussein Abdelkader Omar, from Giza Primary Governorate, has been selected as the alternative mother for the Republic.
Kawsar Mahmoud Ibrahim is a mother from Assiut Governorate who has one of the small projects under the Ministry’s policy to promote economic empowerment and improve living conditions in villages. Sabah Diab Sayed Ahmed is an exemplary mother of the armed forces, while Hoda Abdul Hamid Hasnain is a model mother of a police martyr.
Amal Ali Hassan Mohammed and Mervat Tawfiq Ghanem Khaled will be honored for their contributions to their communities. The Minister of Social Solidarity congratulated the winning mothers and all Egyptian mothers. President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi appreciates the event for its celebration of women’s worth and their role in building the nation during Egypt’s golden age.
Egyptian women have contributed to their families, communities, and the labor market. Motherhood is a humanitarian task and even those who have not given birth can experience its joys by helping other mothers.
694 individuals applied for the Ideal Mother’s Contest 2024, with 412 selected for advancement. The criteria require applicants to be over 50, have a touching story, and basic literacy. Exceptions to these requirements are the border governorates of North Sinai, South Sinai, the New Valley, Marsa Matrouh, the Red Sea, and Aswan. Limit of 5 children. All with higher qualifications/final college stages. Or one with technical qualification. Excludes son with mental disability.
The Minister of Social Solidarity has confirmed that the selection criteria for honorees are based on the requirements and criteria established by the Ministry of Human Values, with the aim of promoting family cohesion. It is of utmost importance to recognize and value the role of foster families, especially those with natural children. The Ministry encourages them to provide a nurturing and supportive family environment for orphans to ensure their well-being.
