Egypt’s Minister of Local Development, Dr. Manal Awad, received Chairman of United Media Services, Mr. Tarek Nour, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital today. The meeting focused on strengthening the partnership between the ministry and the company to support the government’s development efforts at the local level.
Dr. Awad began by praising the significant role of United Media Services in shaping Egypt’s soft power and its contribution to highlighting the government’s development initiatives across the country. She also acknowledged the company’s role in promoting public awareness regarding the government’s new initiatives, particularly the amended laws regarding building violations and the newly introduced facilitation measures for citizens.
Looking ahead, Dr. Awad noted that the coming period would witness increased collaboration between the Ministry of Local Development and United Media Services in various areas and programs that aim to benefit citizens in Egypt’s governorates, aligning with the state’s broader objectives and political directives on key service-related issues.
For his part, Mr. Tarek Nour congratulated Dr. Awad on becoming the first woman to hold the position of Minister of Local Development in Egypt’s history. He commended the ministry’s recent achievements and its central role in serving citizens in the governorates. Mr. Nour also expressed his hope for deeper cooperation between the company and the ministry, particularly in supporting efforts to improve services across vital sectors.
