The Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, represented by Egypt’s Minister of Emigration, Soha Gendi, emphasized its commitment to providing comprehensive information to individuals intending to relocate abroad regarding the legal and regulatory structures of their chosen destination.
During the coordination meetings directed by Gendi, travel controls for Egyptian girls were discussed, along with raising their awareness of labor laws in force in Arab countries, and educating them about their rights and duties in destination countries.
The meetings were led by Ambassador Amr Abbas, Assistant Minister of Emigration for Communities Affairs, and attended by representatives of foreign affairs and labor ministries, as well as officials responsible for travel controls, as stated in a release by the Emigration Ministry on Tuesday.
Following the minister’s directive, officials have been instructed to convene these meetings in response to numerous appeals for assistance from Egyptian nationals employed overseas.
