Dr. Nevine Al-Kabbaj, the Minister of Social Solidarity, held a meeting with the Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas, and the Turkish Ambassador in Cairo, Salih Mutlu Şen, along with their accompanying delegation at the Ministry of Social Solidarity’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of cooperation between the two ministries and exchanged experiences in several fields, including social safety nets, care and rehabilitation programs for persons with disabilities, alternative care and the elderly, women’s empowerment, productive families, and marketing and exhibitions.
The meeting further touched on civil society institutions and volunteer work. The two ministries are currently preparing a memorandum covering cooperation in various social work areas.
