Mashreq Appoints Jyothi Bathula as Global Head of Mashreq Global Network & Managing Director of MGN India

Mashreq Bank appointed  Jyothi Bathula as the Global Head of Mashreq Global Network (MGN) and Managing Director of MGN India. In this role, Jyothi will oversee Mashreq’s Distributed Workforce platform, MGN, and its operations in India, Pakistan, and Egypt. She will be responsible for ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality talent and services to support Mashreq’s strategic, digital, and operational objectives.

With over 20 years of experience in banking and technology services, Jyothi has a proven track record of leadership. Before joining Mashreq, she served as the Chief Operating Officer of UBS India Service Co., where she also managed the integration of Credit Suisse into UBS. Additionally, Jyothi held leadership roles in Singapore and India at Credit Suisse, where she led global programs and improved operational efficiencies.

Commenting on the appointment, Mark Edwards, Group Head of Operations at Mashreq, said, “We are excited to welcome Jyothi to the team. Her extensive expertise in banking, technology, and leadership makes her an excellent fit to drive the continued growth of MGN. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jyothi is also an entrepreneur, having owned and operated two restaurants in Mumbai. She holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad and an MBA from NUS Business School.
