With over 15 years of global experience in banking, retail, healthcare, and consulting, Dr. Liang is widely regarded as a pioneer in building scalable and ethical AI systems that deliver measurable business outcomes. Her track record includes leadership roles at Judo Bank and the Endeavour Group, as well as consulting for McKinsey & Company. Earlier in her career, she was a core AI researcher at IBM, where she earned four patents and published in prestigious scientific journals.
In her new role, Dr. Liang will oversee the development and deployment of AI strategies across all business units at Mashreq. Her remit includes building AI-powered platforms, adopting generative AI, expanding intelligent automation, and aligning innovation with the bank’s regulatory and business priorities.
