LG Egypt and Misr El-Kheir Foundation have signed a memorandum of understanding for the second consecutive year to launch the fourth season of their social responsibility initiative “LG Heroes”. The signing ceremony took place at LG’s headquarters, building on the success achieved through their collaboration during the year 2023.
By signing the memorandum of understanding for the upcoming year, LG commits to providing in-kind donations to Misr El-Kheir Foundation with the aim of enhancing the quality of services provided by the foundation in various areas.
These areas include supporting underprivileged families by providing basic necessities during the winter season, supplying essential food items as part Misr El-Kheir’s Iftar campaign, in order to raise the burden, and provide support to the beneficiaries, raising the efficiency of the services provided in orphanages and challenged individuals’ centers in order to ensure a dignified life for the most deserving individuals, supporting youth centers and providing advanced facilities to empower youth in discovering and developing their talents, as well as supporting Misr El-Kheir in the foundations’ initiatives related to facilitating marriage for challenged individuals by providing advanced household appliances for each family.

The collaboration between the two parties over the past year has yielded tangible success, with LG providing support to thousands of deserving individuals across Egypt. This was achieved through joint cooperation with Misr El-Kheir Foundation in three key areas of social responsibility: Health, Education, and Social Solidarity. LG has contributed to creating a better health environment and improving air quality in a number of hospitals and medical institutions affiliated with Misr El-Kheir Foundation by donating 30 of its latest air purification devices. LG also contributed to the field of education by donating 40 television screens, which Misr El-Kheir Foundation distributed to 40 community schools in remote villages and Upper Egypt governments. Finally, LG contributed to Misr El-Kheir Foundation’s marriage facilitation initiatives by providing 30 of the most advanced home appliances to 30 of the truly deserving brides.
Engineer Amal Mobadda, Fundraising Sector Director at Misr El Kheir Foundation, praised the partnership with LG Egypt for the second consecutive year, affirming that the renewal of the memorandum of understanding for the second year in a row allows them to assist a large number of deserving individuals through this partnership as the foundation conducts extensive research to determine their eligibility.
The Fundraising sector Director at Misr El-Kheir Foundation also emphasized that, according to the new protocol, the cooperation will be more comprehensive and wide-ranging. It will include centers for the rehabilitation of people with disabilities, facilitating marriages for challenged individuals, supporting deserving girls’ marriages, orphanages, and winter campaigns, as well as the holy month of Ramadan and providing food supplies to the deserving families
