IHG to Expand Egypt Portfolio with Three New Hotels
IHG has signed an agreement with Arabella Group to open 3 hotels across its InterContinental North Coast Direction White, voco Cairo Arabella Plaza Cairo, and Crowne Plaza Cairo Arabella Clubhouse brands in Egypt.
The mentioned hotels are expected to open between 2023 and 2026, these three entirely different properties will add over 500 keys to the group’s growing Egypt portfolio.
Each of these new-build properties, which are all under construction, will provide a new accommodation option in a notable area of the country. Cairo’s new voco property is set to open in July 2023, the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cairo is expected to debut in January 2026 and the highly anticipated InterContinental hotel is due to open in September 2026 in Ras El Hekma.
