Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Assistant Treasurer of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Akram Al-Shafei, approved the formation of an office for the Businesswomen Committee in the Chamber of Commerce.
Al-Shafei announced the selection of Manal Ahmed Madbouly, the committee’s media advisor, and Nesma Al-Zaini, committee member and banking coordinator.
According to Resolution No. 2 of 2023 of the President of the Ismailia Chamber, the formation of the Ismailia Businesswomen Committee from the office staff included Amal Mahmoud Ibrahim as Head of Committee, Sarah Mamdouh Al-Sayed as First deputy, Nadia Abdel-Fattah Ahmed as Second deputy, Marwa Saber Youssef as Secretary, and Najah Muhammad Orabi as Assistant Secretary.
The Ismailia Commercial Head was keen to hold a meeting with the new office of the Businesswomen’s Committee, in which he emphasized the importance of the role assigned to them in light of the challenges facing Egyptian pioneers in the economic field.
Moreover, he emphasized the activation of cooperation and increasing the expertise of businesswomen in Ismailia, as well as their participation in community development and the opening of commercial and investment fields in all fields, whether commercial, investment, local, service, or social, with support from the Chamber to activate the role of businesswomen in Ismailia.
In this context, Akram Al-Shafei commissioned the bureau to choose advisors, coordinators, and members to join the committee.
For her part, Amal Mahmoud clarified the committee’s mission to pay attention to the activity of women and businesswomen, to take all measures and events to raise the level and efficiency, to hold courses and seminars, to hold exhibitions, and others.
