Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University, Dr. Omaima Abdel-Karim Al-Dahshan, recently commented on her selection among Stanford University’s list of the best scientists in the world as the top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists.

In a telephone interview, Abdel Karim said: I was ecstatic when I learned of this success, as I had achieved something honorable for Egypt, and it also came in October, the month of victory.

She added: I made great efforts to be included in this list. We have reached a large number of researchers, 120 research papers; these research papers were published in major scientific journals, which raises their ranking.

The Professor further noted that the Knowledge Bank helped her a lot by giving her access to all the research she could view and also concluding agreements with major journals to publish for free.
