“Falcons Vega MENA” First Arab Women’s Team to Participate in Esports World Cup

The Falcons Vega MENA made history by becoming the first Arab women’s team to compete in the Esports World Cup hosted by Riyadh on August 25, according to the “Al Sharq Al-Awsat” website.

The team participated in the “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” (MLBB) tournament for women from July 24 to 27. Twelve teams vied for a $500,000 prize pool.

Sixty-six of the best MLBB players worldwide, including Egypt, Vietnam, Russia, Brazil, the Philippines, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Paraguay, South Korea, Thailand, and the United States, are participating.
