Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, will depart for Ethiopia later on Thursday to head Egypt’s delegation at the 38th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Summit, taking place in Addis Ababa. The summit, scheduled for February 15-16, will bring together numerous African leaders and heads of government to discuss critical issues affecting the continent.
Madbouli is attending the summit on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. Prior to his departure, the Prime Minister chaired the weekly government meeting, where officials discussed a variety of domestic, regional, and international matters, underscoring the significance of Egypt’s continued engagement with African partners in shaping the continent’s future.
