Yesterday evening, Prime Minister, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, honored ACDIMA (Arab Company for Pharmaceutical and Medical Appliances) during a ceremony hosted by the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) at the Grand Egyptian Museum. The event, held under the auspices of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, celebrated the EDA’s achievement of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) “Maturity Level Three” accreditation in pharmaceutical regulation.
The shield of honor was received by Dr. Olfat Ghorab, Chairperson of the Arab Co. For Drugs Industries & Medical Appliances (ACDIMA).
The ceremony brought together Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Transport, Engineer Mohamed Sheimy, Minister of Public Business Sector, and Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority.
In this context, Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the EDA, emphasized that the selection of ACDIMA for this honor was based on two key pillars: the company’s efforts and steps taken to meet global standards in the development and manufacturing of its products to align with international export specifications. This includes the preparation of dedicated Common Technical Document (CTD) files for its pharmaceutical preparations in accordance with global standards and the acquisition of international accreditations for its production lines.
Furthermore, Dr. El-Ghamrawy highlighted the company’s export achievements, noting its leading position among exporting companies in 2024 based on its export figures and the significant growth in the company’s export rate during 2024.
