Egypt is taking a bold step forward in modernizing its transportation infrastructure with the debut of its newly constructed electric train service. Starting this Friday, the train will begin operations between Adly Mansour Station and the New Administrative Capital, with the first trains departing at 5 a.m. and running every 10 minutes until 1 p.m. The Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP), the French company tasked with the operation of the new train line.
As Egypt’s first electric train service between Cairo and the New Administrative Capital comes to life, it promises to not only reshape daily commuting but also enhance access to major events, encouraging both local and international participation.
