Egypt’s Foreign Minister Awarded Belgium’s Order of the Crown Gold Palms 1st Class

In a prestigious ceremony held at Brussels’ Egmont Palace, Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, was presented with Belgium’s Order of the Crown Gold Palms 1st Class by Belgian Foreign Minister Bernard Quintin.

The distinguished award was conferred in recognition of Abdelatty’s significant contributions to strengthening Egyptian-Belgian relations. His efforts during his tenure as Egypt’s Ambassador to Belgium (2021-2024), as well as his role as Deputy Head of Mission in Brussels (2008-2012), played a pivotal role in advancing diplomatic and bilateral ties between the two nations.

In his remarks, Abdelatty expressed deep gratitude for the honor, highlighting the enduring and robust relationship between Egypt and Belgium, underscoring his commitment to furthering diplomatic cooperation between the two countries.
