On February 14, the First Lady of Egypt, Mrs. Entissar El-Sisi, met with Turkey’s First Lady, Mrs. Amina Erdoğan. As part of the visit, they went to the “Decent Life” operations room and met with the young men and women working hard to improve social protection in Egypt.
Mrs. Erdoğan was impressed by their success and efforts and assured them of her continued support.
The two presidents proceeded to Ittihadia Palace later, where they attended an official reception ceremony complete with the national anthems and a guard of honor inspection.
President El-Sisi welcomed President Erdogan on his first visit to Egypt in over 10 years, marking a new chapter in the relationship between the two countries. Both leaders discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and expressed pride in their respective rich cultural heritages.
The Spokesperson for the Presidency reported that the two presidents held both a closed and expanded session of discussions, with delegations from both countries present.
