Egyptian table tennis champion Hana Goda has just earned the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Sports Creativity Award for Best Arab Junior.
The Egyptian prodigy topped the world table tennis rankings in three age groups: under 15, 17, and 19.
According to the International Table Tennis Federation, the Egyptian table tennis player is ranked 29th in the world in the women’s category.
Goda competed for the honor alongside Tunisian tennis player Nour Sahnoun, Moroccan tennis player Malak al-Allami, Syrian weightlifter Ahmed Ibrahim, Algerian judo player Abdel Rahim Mujahid, and Saudi karate player Abdel Aziz Saif.
On Wednesday, the 12th edition of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Sports Creativity Award, one of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s global initiatives, took place.
The 12th edition of the Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum Sports Creativity Award is the largest in the event’s history, both in terms of the number of candidates and winners, up to 30 in various categories from the UAE, the Arab world, and around the world.
