Egyptian Minister of Environment: Hurghada to Become Green City

Egyptian Minister of Environment, Yasmine Fouad, announced last Saturday the Green Hurghada project, which aims to transfer Hurghada to an eco-friendly city in cooperation with the Global Environment Facility.

The move comes as part of the ministry’s approach to protect the natural reservations and the coral reefs in the region, said Fouad. The ministry started implementing the project through green transportation methods and green roads.
