With a strong belief that no outfit is complete without jewelry and accessories, distinguished Egyptian Designer Rania Hilal just debuted a new exquisite collection called “St. Katherine” that showcases a beautiful merge between Islamic art and contemporariness.
Her new collection featured all kinds of jewelry, ranging from necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings to other accessories like bags and belts.
This distinctive uniqueness is quite visible in the designs of the talented designer, who successfully combined oriental and contemporary styles, making each of her signature pieces valuable and original, with high quality and tasteful artistic design.
Copper was the main component she used to present exquisite gold-plated items with enameling with geometrical ornaments, following the footsteps of Ancient Egyptians, who relied on it in jewelry making,
The artist described the process and materials she used in her latest designs, saying: Our bangle, ring, and pendant from St. Katherine’s collection made of brass engraved by hand, plated in gold, then colored with enameling.
The designer presented a natural leather bag inspired by the Bedouin community in St. Katherine, with its authentic tribal embroidery and traditional motifs reflecting aspects of their life and environment.
She added thick leather tassels to the bags for a modern touch.
Hilal’s collection also featured a selection of floral Islamic gold-plated items with enameling with geometrical ornaments.
Moreover, she presented an elegant collection of fanny packs, which she says are cute and convenient as they securely transport your belongings as you move hands-free for urban use, travel, and hiking, besides being roomy and stylish.
Jewelry is known among women to add bling and elegance to any look, whether classic or casual. That is why Rania, among many designers, pours her soul and hard work into designing the most unique and beautiful pieces.
