Egyptian Athletes El Sherbiny & Asal Snatch 2024 Squash Open Titles in Paris

In the 2024 Paris Squash Open, both the men’s and women’s finals featured all-Egyptian matchups. Nour El Sherbiny and Mostafa Asal emerged as the champions.

In the women’s final, world No. 1 El Sherbiny successfully defended her title by defeating world No. 2 Nouran Gohar in a thrilling 3-2 match that lasted 64 minutes. The scores were 6-11, 11-3, 8-11, 11-7, 11-4.

As for the men’s final, world No. 2 Asal defeated world No. 1 Ali Farag in a 55-minute match with a score of 3-1, securing his first Paris Squash Open title and dethroning Farag. The game scores were 7-11, 11-4, 8-11, 7-11.
