The 2025 CMAS World Championship Finswimming Indoor Juniors will take place in Chios, Greece, from June 17-24, 2025. To select Egypt’s junior finswimming team for this prestigious event, the Egyptian Finswimming Cup will serve as the main qualification tournament. The Finswimming Cup will take place from April 9-13, 2025, in Sharm el-Sheikh, a popular resort city on the Red Sea.
The competition in Sharm el-Sheikh will feature young finswimming athletes from across Egypt, who will compete for top positions in their age categories. The best performers will earn a spot on the national team representing Egypt at the 2025 CMAS World Championship.
Sameh el-Shazly, Chairman of the Egyptian Diving and Lifesaving Federation (EDLF), expressed confidence in the potential of Egypt’s junior athletes and highlighted the Finswimming Cup as an important step in their preparation for the world championship. He emphasized that the event in Sharm el-Sheikh would provide a key opportunity for young swimmers to showcase their skills on the international stage in Chios.
