Egypt is set to launch a pilot of the digital initiative “Your School in Egypt” in December 2025, providing high-quality educational services to children of Egyptians living abroad. The initiative was showcased on Wednesday, 19 November, at the Cairo ICT 2025 exhibition in New Cairo by senior officials from the Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Education.
The program stems from a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, aiming to deliver the Egyptian national curriculum through interactive digital classrooms for students abroad.
Pilot Phase in a Gulf Country
The platform and mobile application will begin a trial phase in a selected Gulf country in December 2025. The interactive classes will serve as free review sessions for midterm exams scheduled in January 2026, giving students an opportunity to experience the curriculum and digital learning environment before wider rollout.
Advanced Curriculum and Technology
“Your School in Egypt” will offer lessons taught by experienced Egyptian teachers using cutting-edge educational technology. The initiative ensures full alignment with the Egyptian curriculum while strengthening students’ cultural and academic ties to their homeland.
The program also integrates interactive tools for live learning, assessments, and real-time feedback, ensuring an engaging and effective educational experience.
From Pilot to Global Rollout
Following the pilot, the platform and app will be launched officially on:
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs website and social media channels
- The Ministry of Education website
- The “Egyptians Abroad” portals managed by Egyptian embassies and consulates
Feedback from parents and students during the pilot phase will be used to refine and improve the platform before expanding it to serve Egyptian children in other countries.

The initiative supports Egypt’s vision of modernizing education, maintaining academic continuity, and strengthening national identity among the diaspora. By embedding advanced technology into the curriculum, the program ensures that Egyptian students abroad receive the same quality of education as those in Egypt.
