As per multiple reports, a new Gaza ceasefire round will take place in Cairo on Thursday.
A respected source disclosed that an official stated that the Egyptian security delegation, emphasizing the urgent need for a ceasefire, reiterated Egypt’s firm stance on the facilitation of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
Negotiations were already held in Cairo on Tuesday; another round is planned for today in Doha, Qatar.
The source added that the delegation will travel to Doha today to bridge the gap between Hamas and Israel to reach a ceasefire agreement as quickly as possible.
They further stressed that there is consensus on many issues, a testament to the ongoing and dedicated efforts of the Egyptian security delegation, who have been tirelessly working to bring all parties closer together.
