In a continued push toward modernizing Egypt’s public sector, the Ministry of Planning — in collaboration with the Administrative Prosecution Authority — has officially launched a Digital Learning Management System (LMS) designed to upskill members and employees of the authority.
The initiative comes as part of Egypt’s broader Government Performance Enhancement Program, which aims to strengthen institutional capacity, streamline public services, and promote a digital culture across the state’s administrative apparatus.
Digital Transformation of Government Training
Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, emphasized the strategic importance of the platform, highlighting its role in improving service delivery through digital empowerment and continued professional development.
“The LMS platform is a critical step toward building a digitally literate and performance-driven public sector,” said Dr. Al-Mashat. “It allows for personalized learning journeys, with each member and employee receiving an individual account to track their progress and interact with tailored training programs.”
Course Offerings: From Computer Literacy to Foreign Languages
The platform’s initial course offerings focus on core competencies, including:
- Computer Basics and IT Skills
- English Language Training
- French Language Training
These modules are designed to address skill gaps in digital literacy and language proficiency — two of the key pillars identified in Egypt’s administrative reform strategy.
Dr. Al-Mashat noted that the training content is developed to reflect the evolving needs of modern governance, supporting a more agile, transparent, and citizen-focused public service.
Aligning with Egypt’s Vision 2030
This new digital learning initiative is aligned with Egypt Vision 2030, which prioritizes administrative efficiency, digital governance, and human capital development. The platform also supports Egypt’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) and Goal 4 (Quality Education).
