The Egyptian Embassy in Greece commemorated the 51st anniversary of the 6th of October 1973 War with a special event held at the Hellenic Armed Forces Officers’ Club in Athens.
The event was attended by high-ranking officials and diplomats, including Colonel Magdy Radwan, the Egyptian Defence Attaché, Lana Abo Zeid, a legal expert at the National Council for Women; and Ambassador Omar Amer Youssef. The national anthems of Egypt and Greece were played during the ceremony, symbolizing the strong bilateral relations between the two countries.
Colonel Radwan expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate this historic occasion and offered prayers for global peace and security. He also extended his sincere greetings to the Egyptian Armed Forces and President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, acknowledging their crucial role in safeguarding Egypt’s sovereignty.
