Spanish head coach Julián Martínez has officially named Egypt’s national women’s basketball team roster for the upcoming 2025 Arab Women’s Basketball Championship, set to tip off today in Cairo.
The Pharaohs’ lineup for the regional tournament includes: Radwa Mohamed, Engy Salah, Alia Khaled, Tamara Nader, Hala El-Sharawi, Jana El-Sayed, Farida Wael, Miral Ashraf, Asrar Majed, Maya El-Sayed, Laila Khaled, Nourhan Fouad, Raneem El-Gadawy, and Khadija Osman.
The 2025 Arab Women’s Basketball Championship will be held at Hall 3 of Cairo International Stadium, featuring four nations: Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, and Jordan.
Egypt opens its campaign tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7 p.m. local time against Algeria. Tunisia will meet Algeria at 5 p.m. on Thursday, followed by Egypt facing Jordan at 7 p.m. the same evening.
The tournament is expected to showcase rising regional talent and solidify Egypt’s dominance on home court.
