EBank To Fund Establishing 2 ICUs in Baheya Hospital

The Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBank) signed a cooperation protocol with Baheya Foundation, offering a donation to contribute to establishing 2 intensive care units (ICU) in Baheya Sheikh Zayed Hospital, aiming to accelerate the accomplishment of this project to offer a quality service for every Egyptian woman. The other tranche of the donation will be allocated to sponsor the treatment of cases in Baheya Haram Hospital.

For the 5th consecutive year, EBank has been offering its ongoing support for Baheya Foundation for the early detection and free treatment of breast cancer for women, acknowledging the instrumental role of the foundation in helping every Egyptian woman.

Deputy Chairman of EBE Bank, D. Ahmed Galal, affirmed the bank’s constant support for the foundation has been a step complementing the CSR journey that was started by the bank’s deceased Chairperson, Mervat Sultan.

Baheya Foundation Board member, Eng. Maged Hamdy, also praised the bank’s contribution to sponsor the treatment of female cancer patients.

On the other hand, Gilan Ahmed, Executive Director of Baheya Foundation, expressed her appreciation to the bank and its staff for its contributory role towards the foundation since its inception in 2015. She referred that the bank resumed offering in-kind and financial support to the new Baheya Sheikh Zayed Hospital project.
