Dr. Rania Al-Mashat Joins Al Ula Conference on Emerging Market Economies in KSA

 Egypt’s Minister of Planning , Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, is participating in the Al Ula Conference on Emerging Market Economies, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Finance and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The conference will run for two days, starting on Sunday, in Saudi Arabia, with the theme: “Enhancing Resilience in a Changing World.”

This high-level annual conference serves as a key global platform aimed at fostering dialogue and cooperation to address the economic challenges faced by emerging markets amid the structural transformations of the global economy. It brings together decision-makers, economic leaders, and experts from around the world.

A distinguished group of economists and decision-makers from governments and international financial institutions will participate in the conference, including Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Mr. Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Saudi Minister of Finance, Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, Qatari Minister of Finance, Mr. Anton Silvanov, Russian Minister of Finance, Mr. Faisal Al-Ibrahim, Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, Mr. Jihad Azour, Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at the IMF, Mr. Jin Li Chun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and other Ministers of Economy, Planning, and Finance, as well as Governors of Central Banks from multiple countries and Presidents of Multilateral Development Banks.”
