The National Council for Women’s President, Dr. Maya Morsy paid tribute to  Nazli Moawad, Egyptian political science professor at the Faculty of Political Science,Cairo University,  for receiving the National Order of the Legion (Chevalier d’honneur), the highest French honor.

Prof. Nazli Moawad is considered a prominent role model for Egyptian women.

Moawad was granted the medal by the French Ambassador in Egypt Stephane Roumtier in an event held at the French Embassy in Egypt in the presence of a number of academics.
