Dr. Enas Mohamed Ibrahim Hassan has been appointed Vice President of Damanhour University for Community Service Affairs, as announced in a recent presidential decree No. 98 of 2025.
Dr. Hassan brings a wealth of academic and research experience to her new role, having dedicated her career in academia. She served as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Damanhour University, starting from October 27, 2014. Dr. Enas obtained her master’s degree and Ph.D. in community health nursing from the faculty of Alexandria. This is in addition to her distinguishing participation in clinical conferences, courses, and reports with relevant specifications. Starting her academic career, she also took the position of clinical educator in the Community Health Nursing Department. She is also appointed as Executive manager for the faculty’s quality assurance unit. She also participated in managing awareness campaigns among school students regarding diabetes, tooth decay, injection, and contagious diseases.
Dr. Enas Mohamed Ibrahim Hassan is a Professor in the Community Health Nursing Department at the Faculty of Nursing, Damanhour University, Egypt. She earned her Ph.D. in Community Health Nursing, which was approved by the University Council on December 29, 2007. Dr. Hassan also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health Nursing with honors, obtained on August 18, 1999, and approved by the University Council on September 28, 1999. Her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing was awarded with a grade of “Very Good” from the Faculty of Nursing, Alexandria University, in June 1990.
Her extensive background in academia, coupled with her international research experience, positions Dr. Hassan as a strong leader in her new role. As Vice President for Community Service Affairs, she will be responsible for fostering community engagement and developing initiatives that benefit the wider community served by Damanhour University.
