Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, the governor of Dakahlia, confirmed that workshops focused on women’s social, health, and cultural empowerment have been arranged to fulfill community development objectives and provide them with the chance to demonstrate their abilities and work toward the betterment of the country.
As per a statement released by the governorate on Sunday, the work of the “Nile Pioneers” initiative by the Central Bank for the Economic and Social Empowerment of Women is being carried out along with social solidarity activities within the National Strategy for the Empowerment of Women 2030. This is being done in collaboration and coordination with the Ministry of Local Development and the National Strategy for the Empowerment of Women 2030.
In order to implement a biannual plan in all city and neighborhood centers, coordination and cooperation have been established with Dr. Wael Abdelaziz, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and the Business Development Center of the National Bank of Egypt, according to Dr. Hiba Al-Bailey, Director of the Department of Women’s Affairs of the General Office of the Governorate.
Yasmine Muhannad, the chairman of the Equal Opportunities Unit, worked with representatives from the NBE’s Business Development Center and the West and East Neighborhood to organize two workshops that were intended to train recent graduates from universities and higher education institutions in the governorate of the public service. The business strategy is to be implemented in all governorate centers every six months.
This initiative includes an integrated package of non-financing services, including raising awareness to prepare a feasibility study, project management, and ways to obtain funding from the Bank to implement projects. It also addresses obstacles and challenges and strengthens the institutional capacity of this crucial sector to serve our society.
Muhannad continued by saying that participants in the seminars were taught by Amira Al-Sharbeini and Nada Abdelaziz, who were lecturers from the National Bank of Egypt’s Center for the Development of the Business.
