The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) Foundation has unveiled a newly equipped children’s floor at the Ahl Masr Trauma and Burn Hospital. This transformative initiative, fueled by a generous EGP 40 million donation from the CIB Foundation, ensures young patients receive the best possible medical attention in a supportive and comprehensive environment.
The “From a Wound, a Star is born” themed children’s floor boasts eight cutting-edge intensive care units, 12 intermediate care rooms, and four inpatient rooms. Each space is furnished with state-of-the-art medical equipment and complemented by dedicated nursing stations, fostering a holistic healing experience for young patients.
Building on this commitment, the collaboration between the CIB Foundation and Ahl Masr Foundation exemplifies a longstanding commitment to improving healthcare. The partnership began in 2016 with a CIB Foundation contribution of EGP 1 million, enabling treatment for 159 pediatric burn patients. In 2019, this dedication continued with an additional EGP 2 million dedicated to caring for 282 children at Ahl Masr Hospital.
The inauguration ceremony for the newly equipped floor was a testament to the project’s significance. Esteemed guests including government officials, prominent business leaders, and public figures gathered to celebrate this remarkable achievement. Among the key figures in attendance were Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, and Heba El-Sewedy, founder of Ahl Masr Hospital. Their presence underscored the collaborative spirit and unwavering support for improved healthcare services.
Ahl Masr Hospital, renowned as the first institution in the region to offer complimentary burn treatment, plays a vital role across Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa.
