As part of the nationwide “Together We Make an Impact” initiative, Dr. Ghada Tawfiq, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for Corporate Social Responsibility, participated in hands-on volunteer activities in Sanabssa Village, Menoufia Governorate. The initiative, organized in cooperation with the Hayat Karima Foundation, reflects a shared commitment to driving social development through active institutional engagement.

During the visit, Dr. Tawfiq and a delegation of Central Bank employees and trainee volunteers took part in a variety of community-based activities. These included painting and renovating homes in underprivileged areas, interacting with local residents, and supporting on-ground service projects facilitated by Hayat Karima. The volunteers also observed the delivery of vital developmental and social services, which ranged from healthcare support to educational awareness, aimed at improving quality of life in the village.

This initiative underscores the growing role of the financial sector in institutional volunteering, promoting a culture of sustainable social responsibility. The Central Bank and Hayat Karima’s ongoing partnership aims to empower employees to go beyond traditional roles, engaging directly with underserved communities to make a tangible, positive impact.
