CBE Gives Green Light To Launch ADIB’s Takka cards

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has granted the final approval to Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt (ADIB) to launch Takka prepaid cards in cooperation with its arm ADI Consumer Finance and Meeza, according to an emailed press release on March 28th.

Takka cardholders will be able to seamlessly purchase products and pay in installments via more than 800,000 points of sale (PoS) machines in Egypt.

This product launch coincides with successfully initiating ADI Consumer Finance’s business in the Egyptian market, pursuing to lead this emerging sector.
