On Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo, the 27th edition of Cairo ICT, the International Technology Exhibition and Conference for the Middle East and Africa, kicked off in style.
The Trade Fairs International-organized event aims to break records for exhibiting technology innovations and stimulating creativity.
Cairo ICT 2023, which takes place over four days, attracted participation from five Egyptian ministries: Education, Health, Justice, Higher Education, and Communications and Information Technology.
Along with 200 speakers, over 400 local and international companies are joining the high-level event.
Modern talks on cybersecurity are at the top of Cairo ICT 2023’s agenda, with a special focus on fending off new threats in 2024. Experts will discuss incident response techniques and how resilient financial institutions are to ransomware attacks.
Alongside talks on digital transformations and electronic signatures, the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in banking cybersecurity will also be highlighted.
Throughout the conference, attendees will be captivated by groundbreaking topics such as the impact of fifth-generation communications on smart cities and the future of satellite communications.
The head of Trade Fairs International, Osama Kamal, stressed that groundbreaking projects and investments in the Egyptian market will be introduced at Cairo ICT 2023.
He further emphasized how Egypt’s standing as a regional center for technology will be strengthened by the show.
