Cairo 3A Group announced yesterday the signing of a cooperation protocol with Misr El Kheir Foundation. The protocol entails the kick-off of the “Start with Yourself” campaign to encourage Egyptians to offer generous donations to fund the food parcels to be distributed to more than 25,000 underprivileged families in 15 governorates nationwide throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
As per the protocol, Cairo 3A has donated poultry products with a total value of EGP 2.5 million to needy families.
Signing the cooperation protocol was Ibrahim Wagdy, CEO of Cairo3A poultry subsidiary; Eng. Amal Mobadda, CEO of the Fundraising Sector and Director at Misr El Kheir Foundation, in the presence of Mohamed Aref, General Manager of the Commercial Sector in Cairo 3A, Ahmed Shaaban, Marketing Director of Cairo 3A Group, and from Misr El Kheir, Omar Ashoub, Fundraising Section Head, and Ahmed Younis, Head of partnership Department at Misr El Kheir Foundation.
This philanthropic contribution falls within Cairo 3A Group’s CSR strategy targeting underprivileged families by distributing food supplies during the holy month of Ramadan.
By participating in such causes, the Group contributes to alleviating burdens off people with limited incomes, supporting governmental efforts focusing on social protection, and achieving food security for less fortunate Egyptians.
Moreover, the cooperation protocol stems from Cairo 3A Group’s profound belief in the urgent need to join forces with NGOs to secure food access for the beneficiaries.

Wagdy added that he is excited about the cooperation with Misr El Kheir Foundation, which started 3 years ago. He also acknowledged the Foundation’s efforts and achievements on the ground. Moreover, he pointed out that the Group adopts the solidarity cause of the “Start with Yourself “initiative by providing poultry products to more than 25,000 vulnerable families in Ramadan, urging other companies to partake in this charitable initiative.
On the other hand, Eng. Amal Mobadda, Fundraising Sector’s CEO and Director at Misr El Kheir Foundation, acclaimed the cooperation with Cairo 3A Group and stressed that charitable causes are widely spreading in Egypt these days to support needy families during the blessed month of Ramadan. She also confirmed that the campaign themed “Misr El Kheir is behind every door for charity”, was able to achieve astounding success in its eleventh year, building on the diversified offers of the foundation, including Food Supply Boxes, “El Kheir Bond”, “El Kheir Card”, in addition to Iftar tents erected in the most impoverished villages all over Egypt.
