Under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the summit was the first Egyptian edition of the Middle East and North Africa Leisure and Attractions Council (MENALAC) conference, with the theme “Focus on Egypt.”

Attendees had the opportunity to explore Madinaty’s Open Air Mall, one of the largest shopping and entertainment hubs in the region. The tour included a tram ride through the mall, a visit to the Extreme Land entertainment center, and an exclusive showcase of Boom Room Madinaty. This first-of-its-kind social entertainment hub in Egypt is designed for families and youth, blending social experiences with modern recreational activities.
MENALAC Egypt Summit’s Strategic Importance
Omar Hisham Talaat, Chairman of the American entertainment company behind Boom Room, highlighted the significance of the MENALAC Egypt Summit. He explained that hosting such an event is part of the company’s strategy to collaborate with global institutions in the entertainment sector. Talaat also emphasized that entertainment has become a key driver of Egypt’s economic growth. It plays an essential role in enhancing the country’s global appeal as a prime tourist destination.
Boom Room Madinaty has seen great success since its opening, attracting over 60,000 visitors from various age groups in just a few months. Talaat noted that this success is a testament to the innovative and diverse offerings at the venue.

Walid Al-Balban, Chairman of MENALAC, also expressed his admiration for the entertainment infrastructure at Boom Room Madinaty and Open Air Mall.
