Banque du Caire has been honored with “Best Bank in Corporate Social Responsibility in Egypt for 2025” by Global Business and Finance Magazine, in recognition of its extensive community development programs and its growing role in advancing sustainable development nationwide.

The accolade underscores the bank’s reputation as one of Egypt’s leading financial institutions in the CSR arena, with social impact embedded as a core pillar of its strategy and closely aligned with Egypt Vision 2030 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Recognizing  Broad Social Footprint

Haidi El-Nahas, Head of Corporate Communications, Sustainability and Sustainable Finance Group at Banque Du Caire, said the award reflects the bank’s “deep institutional commitment” to community support.

She noted that the bank implements a wide portfolio of social initiatives across key sectors, with a strong focus on underserved groups such as youth and female breadwinners.

According to El-Nahas, more than 90% of the bank’s CSR interventions are directed toward Upper Egypt, a region that continues to rank among the country’s most vulnerable in terms of access to services and economic opportunities.

 Growing Record of Responsible Banking

El-Nahas described the recognition as “a new international endorsement” of the bank’s efforts to integrate social responsibility into all strategic and operational areas.

Banque Du Caire’s CSR model includes long-term programs designed to address structural challenges in education, employment, health, and financial inclusion—sectors policymakers consider central to achieving inclusive growth.

Towards Resilient and Sustainable future.

With this latest award, Banque Du Caire  continues to position itself as one of Egypt’s most socially engaged financial institutions. Its initiatives, which range from skills training to economic empowerment and community investment, aim to meet the actual needs of disadvantaged groups and contribute to building a more resilient and sustainable future.
