The Arab Dialogue Circle on “Artificial Intelligence in the Arab World: Innovative Applications and Ethical Challenges” commenced on Sunday at the Arab League headquarters under the patronage of Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit. The two-day event, organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, alongside Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, brings together key diplomatic, academic, and specialized figures to discuss the potential and challenges of AI in the Arab region.
The forum will explore critical topics such as “Modern Innovations in Artificial Intelligence,” “AI in the Service of Diplomacy and Peacekeeping,” and “Ethics of Using AI,” and is a follow-up to a resolution passed at the 56th session of the Higher Coordination Committee for Common Arab Action in April 2024.
