Ahead of Egypt’s 2025 Parliamentary Elections, NCW Expands “Your Voice is a Trust” Campaign

As Egypt gears up for its 2025 parliamentary elections, scheduled to be held in November, the National Council for Women (NCW) has intensified its public awareness campaign titled “Your Voice is a Trust“, aimed at empowering women and encouraging their active participation in the democratic process.

National Campaign Targets Voter Engagement Among Women

The latest phase of the campaign features journalist and NCW member Nashwa El-Houfi, whose voice will deliver targeted messages across Egypt’s most popular radio stations in the weeks leading up to the election.

The campaign emphasizes the constitutional right and national duty of women to vote, encouraging conscious and informed participation in choosing Egypt’s future lawmakers.

Women’s Participation Key to Democratic Process

Through this campaign, the NCW aims to increase voter turnout among women, particularly first-time voters and young women. The messaging underscores that casting a ballot is more than a right — it is a powerful tool to influence legislation, protect rights, and ensure representation in the upcoming House of Representatives.

Strategic Media Outreach

Broadcasting on high-reach radio stations ensures the campaign reaches urban and rural communities alike, bridging informational gaps and fostering dialogue around women’s political empowerment.

The NCW’s use of mass media, grassroots engagement, and digital content underlines a broader national push to ensure inclusive and transparent elections in 2025.

Egypt’s 2025 Parliamentary Elections

The upcoming House of Representatives elections, a key constitutional milestone, will define the next legislative term. The parliament plays a central role in shaping laws, overseeing government performance, and representing citizens’ voices on local and national issues.
