Accor, a global leader in the hospitality sector, has announced the rebranding of the Mercure Hurghada Resort to the Movenpick Hurghada Resort, further enhancing its long-term partnership with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Investment Company (ADTIC). As the owner of the Movenpick Hurghada Resort and a trusted partner of Accor, ADTIC is spearheading a comprehensive renovation plan for the resort. This transformation involves an investment of over $40 million (approximately 2.5 billion Egyptian pounds) to develop and renovate the beachfront resort, which features 469 rooms. The goal is to meet the high standards of Swiss hospitality that Movenpick is renowned for.
This renovation will improve guest experiences by offering luxurious accommodations, world-class dining, and upscale entertainment facilities, reinforcing Hurghada’s status as a leading international tourist destination.
