ABK – Egypt Supports “Your Health is a Trust” Initiative with Field Visit to Ahl Masr Hospital

As part of its ongoing commitment to community health and corporate social responsibility, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt) organized a field visit to Ahl Masr Hospital for Burn Treatment, with the active participation of employee volunteers. The visit comes in support of the “Your Health is a Trust” initiative led by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), which unites banks across the country in advancing public health awareness and access to care.

This visit marks a continuation of ABK-Egypt’s long-standing partnership with Ahl Masr Hospital. Over the years, the bank has contributed to the development of the facility by funding the construction of a dedicated patient treatment room and providing essential medical equipment—demonstrating its steadfast commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and supporting burn victims through their recovery journey.

During the visit, hospital physicians conducted an awareness session on burn first aid, educating bank staff on how to respond effectively to burn injuries and emergency situations. The session aimed to equip participants with life-saving skills that align with the preventive goals of the national campaign.

In a gesture of compassion, ABK-Egypt volunteers toured the hospital’s wards, visiting patients of all ages and distributing gifts to uplift their spirits and foster emotional well-being.

Since entering the Egyptian market in 2016, ABK-Egypt has firmly embedded corporate social responsibility (CSR) within its operational strategy. The bank continues to align its community initiatives with Egypt Vision 2030 and the CBE’s development directives, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, youth inclusion, and support for people with disabilities.

Through initiatives like “Your Health is a Trust,” ABK-Egypt reinforces its belief that sustainable economic growth is inseparable from social impact—and that banking can and should play a pivotal role in supporting national development goalsز
