Minister of Planning, Rania El Mashat, confirmed that the electronic voting project aligns with Egypt’s developmental directions as outlined in Egypt Vision 2030. It particularly focuses on ensuring transparency, citizen participation, positive interaction, responding to citizen demands, achieving quality and excellence standards, expanding the use of modern methods in public services, and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the state’s administrative apparatus to keep pace with local and global changes.

This statement was made during the launch of the project, where the Minister also highlighted that this initiative enhances the country’s anti-corruption efforts, particularly through the National Anti-Corruption Strategy. The strategy aims to set policies, programs, and mechanisms that prevent corruption and activate a community culture that rejects corrupt practices.

She further noted that it is a pleasure to meet again shortly after the celebration of the collaboration between the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, and the Ministry of Justice in the Judicial Governance Project. She continued, saying that the beginning of this year coinciding with the start of the month of Rajab is a blessed time, and she wished for peace and prosperity for Egypt and its people.

Minister El Mashat emphasized the continued fruitful cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Justice, the Administrative Prosecution Authority, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. She described this collaboration as a practical model for harmony and integration between state institutions aimed at achieving comprehensive and sustainable development and improving the quality of life for Egyptian citizens.

She pointed out that the joint projects include strategic initiatives such as the “Improving Government Performance Efficiency” project. This project focuses on developing the complaints system and performance evaluation within the Administrative Prosecution Authority. Its goal is to improve the efficiency of public facilities across Egypt, enhance the quality of life for citizens, and provide accurate data to support decision-makers in executing their tasks.

This took place during the launch of the electronic voting project, the complaints program, and performance measurement on Sunday at the Administrative Prosecution Complex in New Cairo, as part of the joint collaboration between the Administrative Prosecution Authority and the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation.
