Sarah Shabayek

Head of Investor Relations at Telecom Egypt

Sarah Shabayek is the Head of Investor Relations at Telecom Egypt since November 2017. Prior to this, she was appointed as Head of Research, MEA Telecom, Media, and Technology at Arqaam Capital in January 2017.

Shebayek has an experience of 10 years in the field of Financial Analysis in the Telecommunication sector. She had occupied many positions in local and international investment banks and was classified as one of the Top Analyst and Researcher in the telecommunication sector for three consecutive years, between 2015 and 2017. In addition, she was classified in 2015 among the Top 10 Analysts in different sector levels.

Shebayek’s researches include 17 of mobile telecommunication companies existing in 35 countries in the Middle East and Africa.

She started her career path as Business Analyst in Ernst & Young between July 2008 and August 2009 then she shifted to Shatronix Energy Systems Sagl as Senior Financial Controller for one year to join HC Securities & Investments in 2009.

In 2012, she moved to CI Capital where she held several positions until she had finally became the Head of Communication Research.

Shebayek introduced the First Communication Pack in the market in 2012.

She received Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from the American University in Cairo.
