About Me

For more than 18 years of experience, Dr. Rasha Negm worked in the most well-known banks, multinationals, and leading Mobile Operator in Egypt, where she played a major role in improving and revamping these companies and banks’ economical structure. Dr. Negm currently works as an Assistant Sub-governor of FinTech and Innovation for the Central Bank of Egypt, leading on Egypt FinTech strategy she previously held the role of head of Mobile Payment from June 2017. She also worked as a Product Management Strategy head in Vodafone Egypt, from June 2014 to May 2017. In 2011, she worked as Product Development, Liabilities, and wealth Management in Bank of Alexandria till 2014. Earlier, Dr. Negm was the Director of Product Development in the National Bank of Egypt; where she managed the re-structuring of the bank products during the governmental bank reform in 2009. In 2007, Dr. Negm worked in Ahli United Bank Egypt as Head of Marketing and Product Development where she developed & implemented full retail product suite to Egyptian market. In 2005, Dr. Negm served as the Marketing Manager for Barclays Bank Egypt where she was responsible for designing the aggregated Brand and Marketing Plans to support the achievement of Retail and Corporate strategies. She then worked for Majid Al Futaim Group as Marketing Manager of Alexandria City Centre.Dr. Negm holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce – Business Administration from Alexandria University in Egypt. She also holds an MBA from University of Wales in England in 2012 and received her DBA from Walden University in USA in 2016.
